I am a TOSA innovation strategist for the Beaverton School District. We are helping all schools throughout the district become Future Ready. I personally am working with 12 schools supporting admin and staff with thinking about their pedagogy and being innovative with their instructional design. Prior to this move I was an 8th grade language arts teacher for 11 years of teaching language arts. I was a flipped classroom for 3 years! Helped my old middle school with their 1:1 iPads tech integration.
I wrote a chapter in the book Flipping 2.0, and I will be presenting at AMLE2015- for the fourth consecutive year presenting at the national middle school conference! I also presented at the ISTE playground for educational tech coaches as well as presenting at the NEXT Schoology conference and demoing in the Schoology booth during ISTE14 &15. I was accepted as a 2015 PBS Digital Innovator, and a Schoology Ambassador and won the Ambassador of the Year award at their user conference in Chicago in July!
